What is an E-Bike?

Electric bikes offer additional power. They have a full range of gears and you still have to pedal but the E-power makes cycling so much easier. Hills are no longer a problem! These E-bikes supplement our fleet of conventional bikes and can allow everyone to enjoy cycling with their friends and family. They have an E-power range of 60-80 miles (depending on battery size and usage) and a maximum assisted top speed of 15 mph but you can go as fast as you want downhill!

You have to be 14 years and over to legally ride an E-bike.

If you are looking for an electric bike to rent while in the Lake District. This is the place. John was extremely helpful. He delivered the bike as planned.
The bike was all charged and ready to go. It is a really easy bike to ride.
The website is easy to book on John contacted me immediately to let me know the bike would be available the next day.

The weekly rate was the best in the area and it included delivery and pick up! Thank you John.

We, my wife and I, have not ridden an E-bike before so this was an experimental day out for us. What a pleasure it was, we were out all day, travelled 35 miles through this beautiful part of the South Lakes on a route which John suggested. We are definitely converted to E-bikes as they are so easy to ride ,have a large display and dont seem to use a lot of battery power. We returned with three of the 5 battery power bars remaining unused, with a large grin on our faces. What a revelation to cycling.
