What is an E-Bike?
Electric bikes offer additional power. They have a full range of gears and you still have to pedal but the E-power makes cycling so much easier. Hills are no longer a problem! These E-bikes supplement our fleet of conventional bikes and can allow everyone to enjoy cycling with their friends and family. They have an E-power range of 60-80 miles (depending on battery size and usage) and a maximum assisted top speed of 15 mph but you can go as fast as you want downhill!
You have to be 14 years and over to legally ride an E-bike.

A new experience this E-biking. But what a way to spend a day on the bike with your partner. We are both none cyclists but really enjoyed our day out covering a massive 35 miles, which is a distance completely unachievable on a normal bike. These E-bikes are so easy to use and John explains their workings quickly and comprehensively.He also tried to ensure our safety by including a helmet and high viz gillet in the hire fee.

Riding on an E-bike in the Lake District certainly makes going up hill a lot easier. I returned refreshed after several hours cycling, with still lots of battery power remaining unused.
