What is an E-Bike?
Electric bikes offer additional power. They have a full range of gears and you still have to pedal but the E-power makes cycling so much easier. Hills are no longer a problem! These E-bikes supplement our fleet of conventional bikes and can allow everyone to enjoy cycling with their friends and family. They have an E-power range of 60-80 miles (depending on battery size and usage) and a maximum assisted top speed of 15 mph but you can go as fast as you want downhill!
You have to be 14 years and over to legally ride an E-bike.

This bike has been amended to accommodate the baby seat on the rear pannier rack. It is the only E-Bike that has this facility. The baby seat and this bike are two separate items on check out.

This bike was a fantastic e-bike to hire. Very easy to ride, definitely worth the money as would never be able to do the route without the electric! Slightly harder than the other bikes we hired as a group but didn’t make much difference. The route John provided was perfect for this bike.

OWNER’S REVIEW
This bike has the Activeline Bosch motor and a 400Wh battery so is not quite as powerful as the other MTN Electric Bikes with the Bosch CX motor, which is reflected in the hire price. However it is more than capable of giving you a fun day out on roads, lanes, trails or tracks. The less powerful motor drains the battery more slowly so the 400Wh battery still offers a great range of cycling electrical assistance.
