All hire bikes are supplied with standard flat pedals unless specific pedals are requested in
the online bike hire booking form.
For ROAD bikes we have the following pedals available to be pre fitted free of charge.
- Look
- Shimano SL (plastic cleats)
- Speedplay Zero/Comp
- Shimano SPD clipless pedals (metal cleats)
For MOUNTAIN Bikes we have the following pedals
- Shimano SPD clipless (metal cleats)
- Crank Bros Eggbeater (special compatible cleats required)
For E-bikes hire off road we recommend the flat pedals already fitted to the bikes, as due to the weight of the E-bikes should you fall and the cleat remains in the pedal it will lead to injury.
