Bike hire prices have remained the same in 2023 as they were in 2022, with a reduced daily rate for longer hire periods.
Yes, this means bikes for everyone from babies in their child seat or trailer to energetic eager ancient cyclists on E-Bikes.
But E-Bikes are not only suitable for pensioners, as they provide so much enjoyment for all ages on or off road. E-bikes enable you to travel further, see more and experience the Lake District at its quietest.
The E-Bike hire fleet has expanded rapidly over the last two years, and now offers the most comprehensive range of hybrid, all -road, and off road hard tail or full suspension E-Bikes.
We have concentrated on providing a range of sizes and types of E-Bikes to accommodate the smallest to the tallest cyclist. We have Cube, Trek and Mondraker E-Bikes to hire, E-bikes from the world leading manufacturers.
But there is more to the hire fleet of bikes than the popular E-Bikes. We have the largest fleet of road bikes to hire in the Lake District the majority being Trek carbon framed or Titanium Enigma framed road bikes. This is complimented with a few dedicated Gravel bikes and a range of sizes of hybrid leisure bikes to hire.
Finally, we must not forget the extensive range of mountain bikes both in hard tail and full suspension models. This selection consists of a variety of different manufactures and a variety of sizes to accommodate children and adults.
Riding a hire bike from our base in Lowick, with its free parking, continues to offer such a diverse range of cycling routes on or off road. The Lake District is renown for its different views around every corner, for its quiet country lanes, its challenging off road routes and its café and pub stops ‘en route’.
