I hired John to guide me over Britains Best Ride with the Blea Tarn add on. This bike took me everywhere but the steeps of 25% and 30% on Wrynose Pass were too much. I had to get off and push! 47 miles with almost 4000 ft of ascent and descent, on a perfect Septembers day. I will remember this ride forever, as Im over visiting from the USA. John even found me a pair of cycling shoes that were a perfect fit.

What a bike! And what a treat to ride! Super smooth, responsive frame that’s really comfortable to ride. Di2 shifting is instant. Great fun! Great service from John. We’ll definitely be back!

OWNER’S REVIEW
Too big for me to ride properly but what a bike! The gear changes are silky smooth the the Ultegra Di2. The 25mm tube less tyres give a smoother ride and the colours of the frame are a joy to look at. With a long hanger and a large 10 speed cassette the hills and passes of the Lake District are very enjoyable. This bike is perfectly suited to the “Fred Whitton Challenge,” over 100 miles over several passes. A new bike added to my collection in 2019 this is THE bike for all tall riders.

OWNER’S REVIEW
Hand made in the USA this is a top bike. Very light, very strong and very well geared for cycling over everything the Lake District has to offer. Fast on the flats and exhilarating down hill this Trek Madone is a pleasure to ride especially with the Shimano Di2 electronic gears. This is a very large 60 frame and suits the tallest of cyclists.
