Im used to cycling in South Africa so wanted a good road bike, yet I’m very small. This bike which John advised me to hire was just perfect.

John sorted this bike out for me to do a Lakes and Dales tour with my Husband, We took everything with us, that we would need for this 10 day trip, in panniers supplied by John. We climbed Wrynose Pass, cycled to Hawes and Grassington in Yorksire. We returned to Lancashire via the Trough of Bowland and headed back to Lowick via the shores of Morecambe Bay. What a fantastic range and variety of countryside as we cycled through two National Parks, and several areas of Outstanding Beauty. The Lexa… it took it all in its stride… a great Trek bike.

I came over from Canada and rode this bike for 8 days while touring with a heavy pannier. We went over the Lakeland pass of Wyronose and up an even steeper climb in Yorkshire’s dales near Settle up Lancliffe , and got lost on the moors near Malham. The bike took it all and was a very good reliable ride, enabling us to have the most fantastic rides in these two beautiful national parks.

OWNER’S REVIEW
In May 2019 this bike was treated to a completely new groupset. Lexa is now the proud owner of a triple front and a 11-32 rear cassette giving a terrific gear range throughout the 27 speeds available. This now makes Lexa even more suited to the undulating lanes of the South Lake District carrying a pannier or just out for a days ride.A great bike for the smaller female cyclist.
