What is an E-Bike?
Electric bikes offer additional power. They have a full range of gears and you still have to pedal but the E-power makes cycling so much easier. Hills are no longer a problem! These E-bikes supplement our fleet of conventional bikes and can allow everyone to enjoy cycling with their friends and family. They have an E-power range of 60-80 miles (depending on battery size and usage) and a maximum assisted top speed of 15 mph but you can go as fast as you want downhill!
You have to be 14 years and over to legally ride an E-bike.

Im well over 6ft and usually struggle to find bikes large enough. This XL Cube with its extended seat post is perfect for the tallest of cyclists and only one of the several XL E-Bikes at Lake District Bikes. Fun to ride in this beautiful area where the extra power is needed for the hills.

Wow, you can really feel the power from this new Bosch CX motor. For a bike designed for road and smooth tracks this is really amazing. No Lakeland hill will be in the way of this bike, it has opened up so many opportunities to ride longer and further into the Lakes. It’s equally amazing just how well it rides at speed on the roads with the wide tyres absorbing all the bumps.
