What is an E-Bike?
Electric bikes offer additional power. They have a full range of gears and you still have to pedal but the E-power makes cycling so much easier. Hills are no longer a problem! These E-bikes supplement our fleet of conventional bikes and can allow everyone to enjoy cycling with their friends and family. They have an E-power range of 60-80 miles (depending on battery size and usage) and a maximum assisted top speed of 15 mph but you can go as fast as you want downhill!
You have to be 14 years and over to legally ride an E-bike.

Having already completed one charity ride on this bike I hired both these fantastic Trek e-bikes to ride the Coast to Coast from Bridlington to Morecambe in the Easter sunshine. I raised £8K for charity, and had a fantastic ride through rural Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire. I could not have done it without the pedal assist of these two superb e road bikes.

We hired this bike and the other one for a full days cycling in this beautiful area, having got soaked last year. We, my wife and I, returned for more and were treated to a perfect days’ dry cycling weather on these fantastic e-bikes. Even after being out for most of the day both of us had battery left to spare. Please don’t sell them John as we will be back next year for these very same bikes.

I arranged a two day charity ride and not being a cyclist wanted to join the group on the rides and keep up. I discussed this with John who suggested this bike. Thank God I took his advice as not only did I keep up with the group but overtook them on every climb! We all had a great time raised lots of funds for charity but most importantly I did not kill myself and was the envy of several of the group. Now I want to ride more and more!

This is a truly remarkable bike! An all road bike that is equally at home on tarmac country lanes or the gravel fire roads in Grizedale Forest. Each mode off assistance will give you extra power up to 15 mph but this bike can really shift if you have the legs to peddle her. The E power really come into play when climbing giving you more energy to enjoy the down hills. Ride this bike and have a real blast.
