Coniston Water Loop

Distance: 19 miles

This is a beautiful gently undulating ride taking in the East shore of Coniston Water with fantastic views across the lake to the Old Man of Coniston, which is the southern rim of the Lake District mountains.

There is a great cafe on the shore of the lake where we stop for a drink, cake or ice cream and watch the Victorian Gondola steam away. Lots of history along the way as we cycle through this old landscape, criss-crossed with antique dry stone walls.
